I've been using MP3 Tag Studio for several years now.  I registered the tool at least two years ago and I'd be happy to privately send you my user name and registration code as proof of registration.

I've never used a cracked version of the tool.  I have not changed anything about my installed version recently.  However, yesterday I started to recieve the warning message "This copy of Mp3/Tag Studio is illegally modified (cracked)! Please reinstall it, and also consider registering Mp3/Tag Studio if you like it.  Thanks!"

I tried reentering my user name and registration code but that did not resolve the issue.  I read the FAQ and didn't find an exact match but found information that lead me to believe that uninstall and reinstall might be the next course of action.  I uninstalled through add/remove programs, downloaded the lastest installation exe, installed the tool, and reentered my user name and registration code but the error message persists.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

This is due to a bug in beta 1 and 2 of Mp3/Tag Studio 3.5 (please see the release history log for more info), and it should be fully resolved if you perform a full uninstall (make sure all files are removed in the Mp3/Tag Studio installation directory, important), and then install the lastest version of Mp3/Tag Studio (either 3.05 or the latest 3.5 beta).

Please contact me by email if you have any more problems related to this, and I will fix it ASAP.

Deleting the directory and doing another uninstall/reinstall resolved my issue.  Thanks.
