I am having a lot of trouble witht he "new" interface. My sole purpose with the software is to change/tweak the "artist" tag (to affect the order they play on my mp3 player). I don't see how to utilize that function on the new version. Can someone please point me in the right direction?? ![]() Posted by: dsperber on April 24 2011,04:31 Use the "browse/edit tags" method. Assuming you have the Explore tree activated (check "use Explorer Browse tree" box... see screenshot below), you select the location of the music folder/files you want to work on. And presumably, you click on the "browse/edit tags" tab on the right side. Then, when you select the expanded artist/album folder on the left (see screenshot), you will then see the list of tracks from that album in the window on the right side. Select any of the songs shown in the track list window. The rest of the fields for that file's tag will now get presented and populated. You can then simply overtype or correct as you want. As soon as you make your first change the "write changes" button will light up from its initial grayed-out appearance. Just push this "write changes" button and your updates are applied. Rinse and repeat. Posted by: Guest on April 26 2011,23:59 thanks much for the assist! I'll give it a try asap!! ![]() Posted by: Guest on April 27 2011,00:08 thanks again, worked like a charm!
