-Brading Software Message Board +--Forum: Share your macros +---Topic: Remove "-" from the end of tracks + others... started by killabee44 Posted by: killabee44 on Oct. 27 2007,19:01 Magnus, I was wondering if you could help me out. I am trying to rename tracks to remove the "-" that is sometimes at the end of the song name (since mp3 software gets confused as to which is the name/artist), but yet keep the "-" that correctly separates the title and artist in that same track. Also, I need to have a space between the "-" that separates the track name from the artist. So, I would like to insert a space before it and after. I would like to do this only after removing the "-" that is at the end of the trackname though. Is this possible? Can you help me with it if it is? Thanks. killabee44 Posted by: Magnus Brading on Oct. 29 2007,16:13 I'm afraid I don't quite follow your explanation, but if you show me a full example of before/after the desired operation, I'll do my best to help you. Posted by: Guest on Nov. 13 2007,20:37 I haven't got a macro for it but it seems the requirement is: You have tracks named like this Artist-Title-.mp3 But you want to remove the trailing - and also put a space before and after the first - Result: Artist - Title.mp3 Is that correct? If this is wrong then can you please show us what you mean by putting it in a similar way to what I just did with 'title-artis.mp3' Like that? Cheers. end |
