There are strings of numbers in the comments field of mp3s encoded with itunes. When you open in MP3tag you cant see them, but when viewed with winamp you can.
When you try to reencode or open in soundforge (for example) you can't open them.
because Mp3 tag doesn't even show them I have to manually edit 1 at a time.
What the numbers mean, I dont know.
I do they they are useless and an obstacle.
Does that qualify as a bug? Maybe because they dont even show up inMP3 tag.
Is there a way I am missing to edit these tags in MP3tag?
What a pain in the rear.

I'm not sure what you are saying you want to do with these extra comment fields, but you can view/edit/remove any extra ID3v2 comment fields in the "Advanced ID3v2 info" window of the browse tool in Mp3/Tag Studio anyway.
