<I post this again, I guess I had put it in the wrong place>
......

Hello,

First of all, tx a lot for mp3ts, it's _very_ handy.

V3.5 beta 17
Modifying the field "Comment" in ID3v2, multiline comment.
Tab : Browse/Edit tags & Flag, and : Mass set tag/flag

When putting a CR, it appears correctly in MP3TS, but neither in winamp v2.91 nor in PowerDesk Pro 6 (right click on file / Powerdesk / Edit Mp3 tag)

It appears as a bold vertical bar instead of a CR

Same thing if I copy to clipboard a 2 lines comment either from winamp or from powerdesk, and then paste it in mp3ts comment field, then "write change", it appears with this bold bar in winamp and pd6.

The contrary works ok (a CR return in winamp appears as CR in mp3ts)

....
Another suggestion : when the mouse cursor goes on top of the comment field, popup the entire comment if it's multiline

Sebas

Exactly what do you mean by "put a CR" in this case? Which buttons do you use? Copy/paste of multiple rows is always a risk, since different controls may use different standards for line breaks, this kind of problem may then even show up in simple text editors.

Mp3/Tag Studio follows the ID3v2 standard when it comes to line-break encoding, but if you send me a file with a tag where the line breaks show up correctly in Mp3/TS but not in e.g. Winamp, I can take a look at it and see if it follows the standard or not.

Hi,

I use Ctrl-Enter to "put a CR", is it the correct way ? It is the case in various programs.

Yes, I can send you a sample, where shall I send it ?

Tx a lot for your concern,
Best regards
Sebas

Sorry for the delayed answer, I have not been able to see new posts for more than a week due to technical problems. :(

Anyway, please use the email address listed under "contact info" to send the samples (I don't write it out here due to the spam risk).
