-Brading Software Message Board +--Forum: Mp3/Tag Studio Support and Bug Reports +---Topic: UTF & ID3v2 started by alfons Posted by: alfons on April 04 2006,15:54 beta 16 is supposed to have full unicode and ID3v2.3 support + ID3v2.4 read support, correct? my problem is that v2.4 UTF-8 tags are shown incorrectly in mp3ts, there are extra characters. is that because v2.4 read support only partial, reading just USC-2, the only allowed unicode in v2.3? btw does anybody know why ID3v2.3 specification is using UCS-2 not UTF-16?
