AFAIK does MP3TS (v3) not have an explicit support for MP3pro files. It is possible in spite of that to use it with MP3pro files or will it be added in future versions?

I'm not completely sure about neither the tag format nor the sound data format used in Mp3Pro files (I guess it's pretty similar to normal mp3s though). I haven't had the time to look into it either, and because it is a fairly uncommon format (as far as I know) it doesn't have very high priority compared to certain other things right now. It might very well be supported in a future version though, especially if the format becomes more widespread.

you can rename your mp3pro files to mp3 and tag-it with mp3tagstudio, and then rename it again.

If the file extensions are the only issue, you can just as well edit the template to use the mp3 pro extension instead (what extension do they have btw?), not having to do any extra renamings of the files at all. I just wasn't certain if the tags used in mp3 pro files were any different than the ones used in normal mp3 files.
