-Brading Software Message Board +--Forum: Share your macros +---Topic: BPM & Array Macros started by RodAlonzo Posted by: RodAlonzo on Nov. 28 2012,20:10 I had this program years ago and I used to know how to insert the BPM within the filename of my music files. The same macro i used, doesn't seem to work anymore. <Artist Name> [<TBPM>] - <Song Title>. Also, there used to be a long list of arrays to use when creating macros and i can't seem to find that either. Can sum1 help me out? Posted by: Magnus Brading on Dec. 12 2012,00:28 First of all, what you are mentioning above is not a macro, it's just a renaming template. Also, the reason for it not working for you now is most likely that the mp3 files in question do not have the BPM field of their ID3v2 tag set, which is a prerequisite for that (the BPM value is only taken from that field, not ####yzed/detected from the song itself). Posted by: RodAlonzo on Dec. 13 2012,13:29 First of all, all my music files have BPM data within the v2 file as they are analysed prior to using this program. Secondly, I wasn't asking for BPM analysis info. I want to 'insert' the 'current' BPM into the filename. I can't get the "renaming template" to accept the equation with a BPM as a valid template as it turns 'red' for invalid equation. Thirdly, i used to be able to do this on the earlier version(s) of the program, but no longer does it work. ![]() Posted by: RodAlonzo on Dec. 13 2012,13:29 First of all, all my music files have BPM data within the v2 file as they are analysed prior to using this program. (and sorry for the forum issue with the black text, it's fixed now) Posted by: RodAlonzo on Feb. 05 2013,14:32 I figured it out once i got the Windows Help directory re-installed... end |
