It is in the file name itself and in the tags. In the tags it's in these categories and I want it to be left blank when I'm done. ID3v1 Album Comment ID3v2 Album Comment Composer Orig.Artist Copyright URL Encoded by And I want to mass remove it from the file name itself as well.. right before the .mp3 in the file name..And I want it to be shortened up so that the name of the song is next to the .mp3 Thank you!! Posted by: Filippas on Dec. 16 2007,15:10 You could do several things. 1. Remove filled filed by using the Mass cleanup tags option. Selecting the options you want to clean up. in this case Album Comment Album Comment Composer Orig.Artist Copyright URL Encoded by 2. If the website name is in the filename you can select the Auto tag (from filenames) tab. Use the right syntax. Examp. filename is: 01. Never new love like this(http://www.thesite.com) The syntax to use is <TrackNr>. <Title><TRASH>. This will clean up the (http://www.thesite.com) from the Title field. Be aware to use the right syntax. This means add a space in the syntax if there is a space in the filename. Add a underscore (_) in the syntax if there is any. 3. Write a textfile with tracknum, Artist, Album title, etc and import it with the Tack/rename from list. Click on the yellow open folder icon to browse to the text file that you created. As you can see there are several options to work with. If this could not help you to reach want you wanted, let us know. end |
