Mp3/Tag Studio has suddenly started to act oddly. In particular, any right-clicks on directory names in the Explorer Browse Tree at the left results in random error messages, "Privileged Instruction", "Access violation...", I think one other. Also, once, a directory got "stuck" selected, and even if I selected another one the first's files showed up in the "Browse/Edit" tab, and both directories were high-lighted.
So, I thought I would uninstall and reinstall the program. No luck. Using "Add or Remove Programs" from the control panel gives me an error message:
<QUOTE> The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable
Click OK to try again, or enter an alternate path to a folder containing the installation package 'Mp3Tag Studio 3.5 (beta 19).msi' in the box below <\QUOTE>
The "box below" contains:
C:\WINDOWS\Downloaded Installations\{5BA4533E-A78D-49F6-AC67-4C1B8DA6F7D4}\
However I cannot find any such .msi file on my machine. I tried reinstalling the program on top of the current one, but it attempted to uninstall in too, and resulted in the same error.
What do I do now, doctor?
