I had MP3TS run across my library and rename files in order to do some clean up. I am now getting thousands of files with #2 appended on the end.

This would make sense if I had multiple files in the folders with the same name, but in many cases I do not.

My rename string is:

c:\mp3<\>library<\><Artist><\><Album><\><Artist> - <Title>.mp3

If I run from my root, I have this problem, but if I run from each album folder, it works fine. This seems to be a new problem and I can't figure out what is causing it.

It would be great if you could isolate the problem a bit more (e.g. to two offending files that create this problem), so that I can reproduce it easier, but thanks for the report in any case, it's been noted for investigation.

I cannot isolate it to a few files.

I have about 1,300 files under a root folder. The files are sorted by <Artist>\<Album>, with songs that have no album listed under the artist folder.

If I run a renamed based on tags from the root or from the artist folder, most of the files get a #2 appended on to the filename. If click each file and rename, the rename works fine.
