consider allowing a checkbox when executing from the shell either in the first error that is reported back or from the optoins in the program itself that outputs the errors to a log window displayed at the end of the processes. when i execute a direct tag manipulate from the shell on a few folders of my own selection some filenames are still named right and it outputs the name was already right box like 1,000 times, gets a little annoying =)
it might be even easier or better as i mentioned in another post about a tray program running in the background to detect such actions, perhaps even give this little tray program the ability to have all actions routed through it with a status bar that pops up for large operations, similiar to being able to run direct manipulation through the actual program people could use the shell to execute the initial command and the program pops up with the status and the results, the possibility to undo etc. would be really a nice tool i think.
