Hello,

when synchronising collections with differences, all collections seem to be written completely.

This means for example, that Opera.dat is written even if it was the source of the changes.

And all IE Favorites (.url files) are written - IMHO the file modification date is an interesting information and shouldn't be overwritten (in a multi user environment, this applies also for the owner information).

Is this really necessary? IMHO it would be better to write only changed files.

There are several reasons, mostly internal to the program algorithms, that require this rewrite. The added complexity needed to change this behavior does not seem worth the risk of added bugs, just to save the file dates, sorry.  :ashamed:
