So, has anyone come across a program that can do for my ebooks what MP3/TS has done for my music?
My ebooks are in a variety of formats from a variety of sources and the only constants are the random naming conventions and the shabby condition of the metadata. The only one I've found so far is Calibre. Which, even if it is good enough, insists on moving all your files into a directory structure of it's own devising (unacceptable to begin with), and bases that structure off of the metadata. So if I ever want to find the files again, I need to clean up the metadata and/or get the filenames consistent.
