I'm really hoping someone can help me.  

I'm just beginning to transfer all of my music collection to MP3s -- and would like to include as much supplementary info to the MP3 file as possible, including a lot of pop chart information (for example, peak position, weeks in the top 40, date tune entered the chart, etc).

To my limited knowledge, it seems there are certainly no current ID3v2 frames already built to support such info, but is there a way I can add some customized new tags that can accomodate my categories?

And since I'm a newbie, I'd love to find someone who can point me in the right direction of finding the easiest ways to go about adding lyrics and a pic (45 picture sleeve) to each of my MP3 file.

The feature to add custom tag fields in id3v2, completley with tag description and abbrivation.

To add them via the mass set tag and tag from list option.

The ability to create custom fields or import custom fields from existing mp3 files and maybe manage them. Beside the description the possibilty to set a tag abbrevation to be used as <V2_XXX> tag in all tagging features.

I cannot add arbitrary fields to the ID3v2 specification like that, I must follow the specification, sorry. :(
