My friend gave me his serial number for this program, and I entered it just to see if the full program was worth it. Now it just opens and quits. Any help would be appreciated.

It is illegal to give out serial numbers to friends (or to anyone else) for whatever reason (not to mention that there is no difference between the trial version and the registered version except for the advert window). Please tell this to your friend. Then reinstall the program and you should be fine.
