I have just installed TS version 3.0x, so this might be in version 3.5 already. Also just seaerched through half of the suggestions in this forum...
I often put extra info like composer, artists, instruments ... in the comment field, because that's quicker than going through the extra id3v2-tags and that way I also have the info in id3v1. Often my comments only differ in the last couple of characters, so it would be very handy to have auto-completion (with control-arrow to jump to the position where the changes start).

Which tool are you talking about, the browse tool? And what would this auto-completion be based on, all earlier processed files, or what?

yep, in browse/edit tags -> comments. Based on the comments of all earlier processed files or just the files of the recent album. Or the recent session or whatever might be the most usefull.....
