The normal way that you can "use my software in the future" is to pay for it after a 30 day evaluation period. :) The registered version never expires.

Since I'm such a nice guy though, I have released a new beta now anyway.

You will find the instructions for registering the program if you go to:

and then click on "Register" on the left.

Hi just installed 3.04 (with banner). That crashes on startup. Using Vista.

But oh so sad, I don't see the updated beta version and even installing 3.05 and trying the update patch didn't work.

This is still the absolute best mp3 tag editor.
I wish it could handle the nutso stuff that iTunes puts in the v2 tags (like pictures) then it would be perfect.  Well perfection would be being able to write stuff into those tags that iTunes would read (like "this is an audiobook not music" and here is the picture.)  That way I wouldn't have to get horrified every time I'm forced to use iTunes (which is just terribly incapable of working with more than 100 files.)

Magnus you are a great coder.

Thanks I see the updated link now - had to refresh the frame not just the page.

Also, after 8 years of using it, and thinking hundreds of times that I should pony up, I paid my $20.68 Canadian and feel great!

Please Magnus, make it so that I never have to bang my head against iTunes again.

Thanks for the kind words and the registration fee Michael. :)

roylefamily:
You should use the 3.5 beta version, not 3.05 (and absolutely not 3.04, which doesn't even exist ;))

About the latest 3.5 beta, please verify that it's beta 22 and not beta 21 that you got (like Michael said here above, you might have to refresh the web page to see the new link).

Here is the direct download link for it anyway:

Very strange, they seem to work fine from here? Glad it worked out for you anyway.

Just wondering here. What happened by the way? Just a minor glitch?
