The "Mass clean up tags" function sometimes doesn't work for track and comment.

The track isn't deleted if there is there is a "0" in the field.

And I have a lot of files with an v2 comment tag but empty v1 comment. MP3TS b16 says the the tags are synced although they aren't and even if I selected to clean up all comments or to copy the empty v1 comment to v2 they aren't deleted.

ID3v2 tags can have multiple comment fields, out of which only one is the "real" comment field. Mp3/Tag Studio only deletes the "real" comment field when selecting to delete the comment field, since the other comment fields are normally used to keep track of custom data of different sorts.

Winamp is a bit stupid though, and picks and displays one of the other comment fields if the real one isn't there.

About the track number issue, I did not see any example of this in your screenshots, but my guess is that you are also in this case using some other program that displays data in a non-optimal way. You see, the track number field in ID3v1.1 tags can never really be "deleted", it can only be set to zero. Mp3/Tag Studio (and most other programs) treat this as deleted though.

I would swear (but don't have an example at my finger tips) that I have seen a track number of 0 (zero) displayed in Mp3/Tag Studio.  If I bump into another such case I'll post.

Yes, if you set the ID3v2 tag tracknumber field to an explicit 0 (which is possible for ID3v2 tags, but not for ID3v1.1 tags) you will see a zero in that field.

Think, that I've also seen  a zero, while no id3v2 tag were present. I'll look for an example, if I'm back at home again...
