This is a great piece of software you've put together.
Frankly, if I hadn't found it I would write something like it myself during my summer holidays
(not that I could come up with something THAT good).Anyway, I have a question:
Assuming the following folder name structure:
<Artist> - [<Year>] <Album>
Is it possible for the tagger to get the Year info from the folder name and tag the mp3s in the folder?

Of course it is.
Simply use the following (advanced mode) template in the auto tag tool:
<TRASH>[<Year>]<TRASH><\><TRASH>.mp3
