What is the best approach to removing the "unknown" NCON frame from every file in my library of 5100+ tracks?

Thanks.

Non-standard-compliant frames are not normally processed by Mp3/Tag Studio, since according to the standard all ID3v2 tags containing such shall be considered corrupted and discardable, sorry.  :(

PS. This has nothing to do with macros, and was thus moved to the support forum.

I posted to "macros" because I was hoping somebody could suggest a way to solve this problem using macros, as I *really* did not want to edit each file individually.

I ultimately solved this problem using another tag editor.  This other editor couldn't tell me about the NCON frames, but it was able to delete them while preserving all other tag info.  But "props" to Mp3 Tag Studio because until I looked at my files using Tag Studio I didn't even know about these frames.

I'm glad it worked out for you.

Just one note about macros, they are not the same thing as "everything except manually editing every file". On the contrary, Mp3/Tag Studio contains many powerful features to mass process files with different operations. What macros do is to combine several such mass-processing features, with different settings, into one single operation, making it possible to perform highly complex operations on mp3 files with just the single click of a button.
