Hi,
Just checked out your tag studio, but I was a bit surprised the advanced tags list didn't show all the ones I expected like AENC (Audio encryption) and other described in

http://www.id3.org/id3v2.4.0-frames.txt

Any chance some or all of them will be added in future releases ?

Which "advanced tag list" are you referring to?

Oh, sorry
Meant "Advanced ID3v2 info" and then the list in "add additional frame" where it says "frame type".
There are quite a lot of those more exotic frame types there, but there could be more (see the document from ID3.org)
I'm writing a program to distribute mp3's and I would like to add some information (like encryption method) in a compatible ID3 way. It would be nice that mp3tag studio has those other tags somewhere (haven't found a program with as many tags supported yet, but there could be even more no ?)

The "Advanced ID3v2 info" window (and the mass set tool and so on) supports all text-type frames in the ID3v2.3 specification (there are no big additions in ID3v2.4). All other fields cannot be set with single text strings, but will each require special treatment (like e.g. the one you mention as an example).

The "Mass clean up tags" tool, on the other hand, supports all frames, including the one you mention (AENC).

Special support for individual potentially popular non-text fields might very well be implemented in a future update though.

How about this frame?

The 'Mood' frame is intended to reflect the mood of the audio with a
few keywords, e.g. "Romantic" or "Sad".

I am using a program called Moodlogic which can retrieve the mood for a song, however it doesn't write it to the tags so it would be great if your program could do that!

I've already tried importing Moodlogic-data for genre and year with your program and it worked great!

That is one of the few added text frames in the ID3v2.4 specs, and hence, it is currently not supported in Mp3/Tag Studio (see above). Sorry about that. :ashamed:

By the way, a compatibility with Lyrics3 (a lot of mp3z are displayed on winamp & tagstudio as an ID3V1 tag but contain more caracters than a regular V1, so i cant edit them well) would be useful.

At least, i guess they are Lyrics3 format, but it's maybe another ID3V1.## that i didnt know yet.

Mp3/Tag Studio is compatible with all ID3 tag versions. The only exception is that is cannot write ID3v2.4-specific tag frames (which are very uncommon anyway), but it can still read them.

Lyrics3 and other tag formats are not part of the ID3 specification at all. The ID3v2 tag standard has its own fields for lyrics (which are not explicitly supported in the Mp3/TS GUI right now though).
