Hi,
Much to my surprise I couldn't find anything in the forum on the only problem I have w/ MT-studio (the best tag-editor I've found so far!;). Am I the only one with mp3s of B.B. King, A.J. Croce, J.J. Cale, R.E.M.?? If there's not a space after a dot, but a character,  MT-studio refuses to capitalize it: calling these artists B.b. King, A.j. Croce, J.j. Cale, R.e.m. etc. (same thing for U.s.a. or U.k. and many more)
Making substring replacements for all initials is undoable. So all I want from MT-studio is to put a command in the auto case fix settings to 'capitalize the first character after a dot (if it's not a space)'. Please Magnus, could you do that? Thank you!

Already possible...

1.
Go into the casefix settings.

2.
Select the advanced mode.

3.
In the listbox called "Compounding atoms", add a period (.) on a single row.

Bam, you're done, now rename whatever initials you want, with perfect case. You can also read more about the meaning of all those listboxes in the helpfile, simply press F1 while being in the casefix settings window to bring up the correct help section.

Hi, Magnus - Wow, do I feel stupid now! And I already did unbelievable things with MT-studio! But though my english is good enough, I never found out what 'compounding atoms' were (my chemistry is bad anyway :-). Thanks for the explanation and the quick reply. I'll register shortly. (and I'll spread the word; the possibilities of your program are amazing!;). Take care now.
