Hello! First off, thank you very much Magnus for this absolutely amazing software. I finally registered with you after a very long time of using it. (I-I think I got attached to that little banner....) Now on to my question, for which I apparently could not find anything via the search button.

Mp3/Tag Studio seems to erratically add a T to the end of every ID3 field when I use the "retag" function from the context menu -- or it will do it the opposite way, and add a T to the filename when I use the "rename" function from the context menu. For example:

ArtistT - TitleT.mp3

Other times it will also add a C. No other letters have appeared as of yet. I wonder if they're planning an ambush.

Anyway, to be fair, I do not think Mp3/Tag Studio is the cause of this, but rather it is being affected by something else. The reason for the assumption is that when I edit an ID3 tag in Winamp and save it, it too will suddenly have Ts in it.

Strange.

I would appreciate any tips you or any other users may have.

Thanks! :D

This is a bug in older versions of Mp3/Tag Studio, when operating on Unicode-based ID3v2 tags. Please use the most recent 3.5 beta version and it should work fine.

And thanks for registering! :)

Winamp also has better Unicode support for tags now. The latest version has a security fix, so it's worth getting.
