Here's my situation:

I've got a list with all my artists followed by their genre, styles and tones. Now I would like to get through my library and set for each artist the equivalent genre, style and tone as specified in the list file.

This could be used with various artist albums too.

Can this be done with mp3ts?

So you mean that there is no filenames at all in that file, and only one entry for each artist? In that case it will be a little hard to do a fully automatic process I think. The "most automatic" way I can think of is to process each artist separately, and then use the "Tag/rename from list" tool, with a list where the line for the current artist is repeated (at least) once for each file of the current artist. Then it will only take a simple list import to tag them all.
