i converted my mp3 and it created a back up which one can i delete cause now i have two of the same i need to go to my originals do i delete the mp3  .bak or the one with no extension i was trying to convert from v1to v2. someone told me to use this cause my ipod is being synced with duplicate entries of my artist using musicmatch

Bak-files are only created when using any of the repair tools of Mp3/Tag Studio, not the tagging/renaming tools (it is also optional for the repair tools). The normal way to do it would be to first perform the repair, then verify that the repair procedure had the desired effect on all the files, and then delete the bak-files (which are copies of the original files).

what if i want to delete the repair files and have the bak files to original as mp3s is there anyway of doing it cause when i did one of the repairs it put screeches in a lot of my songs

Sure, you can e.g. use the "Direct rename files" tool to rename all the bak-files to the original names in a snap.
