I've got a group of MP3s that have ID3 v1 info but no v2 - can MP3 Studio (v3.05) copy the info from v1 to v2 on a group of files?

Sure, simply go into the "Direct tag manipulation" tool, and choose the "v1 -> v2 conversion" option from the preset box. Then press execute. Done.

On the report of looks at all of the v1 and v1.1 tags. The only difference between these two is that in version 1.1, the last byte of the comment field in version 1 has been taken over by the tracking number. It can also write ID3v1 code, but it hasn't been tested much. Use at your own peril.
