As far as I know the ability to only show tags with unsynced data in the browse option is not available yet. Does anybody know a workaround for this so I can check which data to keep (either from the V1 or from the V2 tags)?

If this is not possible in the current version? Which other program would you recommend using to complete this task?

You can use the filter to only select unsynced files, and then e.g. either display a list of them immediately in the search tool, or move them all to a temporary directory with the direct rename or auto rename tool, and process them there (and then move them back e.g. with the undo feature of the tool used to move them there).
