-Brading Software Message Board +--Forum: Mp3/Tag Studio Support and Bug Reports +---Topic: Adding the same thing to the end of every MP3 started by bbc Posted by: bbc on Mar. 09 2004,04:23 is there a way that I can add the same thing at the end of my mp3 file names? example = 4444.. original song title... ->> groupname - songname after -->> groupname - songname 4444 but not on the mp3 tag... on the actual file name.. i want to leave a signature on all of my mp3's.. it would have to be at the end of my mp3 file names... between the last character and the .mp3 extention. can this be done? and if so...how??? thank u! Posted by: Magnus Brading on Mar. 09 2004,13:12 Sure, no problem, use the "Direct Rename Files" tool, with the following templates: Expected: <Custom1>.mp3 Output: <Custom1> 4444.mp3 Press execute, and it's done. Posted by: bbc on Mar. 10 2004,04:24 i will give it a shot! thank you very much! i love this program =) i hope i can spread the word and get a bunch of people to purchase this and support your work. also i was wondering, is there a way to case fix folders? i know there is a way to case fix the file names...but im not sure if it can be done for folders...can you tell me how to do both actually? thanks again!!!! Posted by: Magnus Brading on Mar. 14 2004,13:56 You activate the "advanced mode" for the template, and edit it manually, it's as easy as that. Posted by: bbc on Mar. 14 2004,14:50 this program is so amazing! thanks for guiding me along...i was able to do it =) what about............????????? also i was wondering, is there a way to case fix folders? i know there is a way to case fix the file names...but im not sure if it can be done for folders...can you tell me how to do both actually? thanks again!!!! Posted by: Magnus Brading on Mar. 14 2004,18:44 You cannot casefix existing folders directly, but by using the direct rename tool with the absolute path mode you can accomplish pretty much the same effect.
