Hi!

I have a small function I really would appreciate. That is the possibility of specifying several "search patterns" when entering expected name formats. Also I would like to add the possibility to skip files not matching any of these patterns.

All this is inspired by a technique used by Leif Claesson is his program Mp3Stocker (can be found at http://leif.cx). The program builds a db of ones collection and plays it in Winamp (2.x). The specific function is used when indexing mp3:s and is PERFECT (IMHO)!

I think it would sadly be quite hard to do this in an easy-to-understand way for most users. Especially getting people to understand which combinations of formats that are unambiguous and not... :(

And I suppose you feel that figuring out how to use the custom rename and retag is a piece of cake, right???

LMAO!

Ok, I'll rephrase:

I think it would sadly be quite hard to do this in a way that is proportionally easy to understand in relation to the possible winnings in efficiency that this feature would bring.

Satisfied? ;)

Yes, much better!  I can live with that reasoning.  :)

You must write formal documents at work, don't you?  That was far too eloquent and technically accurate for a lowly peon to have written!
