Hi Magnus.
I was wondering if there is a "product roadmap" available? As in, an overview of what changes you already have planned for MP3/TS, and what priority those changes/features/bugfixes has?
This might prevent users from requesting features that already are planned, or reporting bugs you already know about.. :)

Keep up the excellent work!

Best regards,
Fredrik Lovik

I'm sorry, but I won't make that list official. :(

This has several reasons, e.g.:

* The list is so big that some things on it might actually never be implemented. Hence people would be disappointed if they've read it on the list but it never comes.

* I actually want different people to suggest the same thing, so I can see how attractive this feature is.

* Competitors can steal my ideas before I implement them.

* It puts pressure on me when people asks "When will that feature come that you promised us before?".

I hope you understand.

PS. I can reveal to you that the text file containing these things are more than 50 kb big anyway, containing only tightly packed minimal descriptions of all new feature ideas. :)

I don't mind at all, and I understand completly.  :p

It'll make it even more exciting for us when new versions are released....
You said competitors? I doubt there are any software able to compete. I've tried most of them too.. ;)

Another question... Will you hold off for big releases only, or will you release updates more often? :)

I have no special policy about big or small releases, it depends completely on how much time I have (both how big they are and how often they come). It also of course depends on the number of people who register, since I can't afford to work on it too much otherwise.
