Hey Magnus,
Long time!
I'm working in a different radio station now, and I still use MP3TS every day.
We send approval mp3's to clients (of their commercials), and I tag all the mp3's before we e-mail them out, like so:

Title - Spot title
Artist - Voice over talent
Album - Client name
Track # - Master and track number (eg 45032 is master 450 track 32)
Year - Year
Comment - Unique key number of the commercial
Genre - Always "Vocal"

And as you can imagine, I'm using macros and bulk file operations wherever I can to speed up the process.
I just wish you had more time to push it further!

Just wondering... next time you ARE sitting down to develop MP3TS further, any chance you could incorporate the <album artist> tag into the various functions (ie rename from tags, tag from filename etc).
That would be sweet!
Thanks (as always)! :)

Bruce.

This is exactly what I came by looking to learn!
I eventually had to give in and go along with installing itunes after buying an ipod...groooaaaan.
It seems to prefer the album artist field which, to be honest, is so annoying!!!!!
I say this because over the years I have tagged my files, all so many thousands of them, but only filled the artist tag.
So now I am going to go through them slowly.
It's great to realise that the program can do this easily. Just wish I had been aware of it!!!

So, as itunes also puts such high priority on album artwork, something else  I have long avoided using but now am coming round to the benefits, I wonder if there is any possibility of mp3tag studio supporting album art in a better way so that we can view the art in the window of the main program and then change it or add/delete it quickly.
At the moment it's a bit of a nonsense having to save the file as bitmap etc then open it to view it.
Just a hopeful suggestion, not a criticism!

Thanks for a great program!
(Even if you keep deleting my forum account cos I don't come by often enough! )
