-Brading Software Message Board +--Forum: Mp3/Tag Studio Support and Bug Reports +---Topic: shell rename started by jorss Posted by: jorss on Sep. 28 2005,11:02 howdy, i often use shell extension to rename my files to <TrackNr>-<Title>.mp3 format. so far this used to work like a charm. now beta 16 does a funny thing to me - it renames as like my format template was <TrackNr>-<Title>T.mp3 - so i get an extra T added to my filenames. this happens only renaming from shell extension and when files have v2 tags set, auto rename from inside mp3ts works properly and when files have only v1 tags also from shell i have no problems. thanks Posted by: Magnus Brading on Sep. 28 2005,12:15 I thought that this problem was already fixed in an earlier beta (it is related to ID3v2 tags with Unicode contents), it might be that your shell extension has failed tp upgrade. But I just made completely sure that it should be fixed in the next beta anyway, in the event that the shell extension was not recompiled since that fix. Thanks for reporting. end |
