i am using verison 3.05 on win 2k machine with most all updates.

i'm trying to process a large itunes folder of files to copy v1 tag info to files that have no v2 file tag info using direct tag manipulation.

the operation runs for about 10 seconds then errors out with:

Access violation ad address 004029c9 in module 'mp3tag_s.exe' Read of address 0206fffe

I have tried the beta and got a similar result.

please advise

Practically always when this happens, one of the files have a heavily corrupted ID3v2 tag. Try to isolate this file(s) and remove its ID3v2 tag, and the problem will be solved. This board is full of people reporting this exact thing, and solving it that way.
