Program: C:\windows\Explorer.EXE abnormal program termination --------------------------- OK --------------------------- Posted by: remus on June 27 2006,08:42 one more error message. BTW: Seems that no context menu operations wort any longer after once receiving these messages until reboot --------------------------- Total Commander --------------------------- OLE2 Command failed! Either your OLE2 subsystem is damaged, or you have installed a shell extension which is incompatible with Total Commander! --------------------------- OK --------------------------- Posted by: Magnus Brading on June 27 2006,11:54 Do you have write access to that folder? (D:\aamProgramme\Mp3-Tag Studio 3.5) It sounds like this might be the problem. Also, if you cannot solve the problem and want to disable the shell extension to avoid your other mentioned problems, this can be done from the global settings inside Mp3/Tag Studio. Posted by: remus on June 27 2006,20:17 of course I have write access. In most cases context openrations work fine. i am still not sure in what situations this bug comes up. Maybe if the file is opened by mp3directcut Posted by: Magnus Brading on June 27 2006,21:49 Ah, ok. Then it would be really great if you could conclude in which situations this problem occurs, so that I can reproduce the problem myself in order to analyze it further. Posted by: remus on June 28 2006,05:07 Maybe I got it now: While playing a file in foobar2000 I tried to paste a tag to this file by context menu. I got this error: --------------------------- Total Commander --------------------------- OLE2 Command failed! Either your OLE2 subsystem is damaged, or you have installed a shell extension which is incompatible with Total Commander! --------------------------- OK --------------------------- Then I tried to do some other context menu operations but then always get this: --------------------------- Warning --------------------------- Error opening undo file (D:\aamProgramme\Mp3-Tag Studio 3.5\shlext.und)! --------------------------- OK --------------------------- now I have to reboot, to get it running again. I hope u can reproduce. Regards Posted by: Magnus Brading on June 28 2006,10:54 Ah, that would indicate that it happens when the target file is locked by another program. Thanks, I will look into it. end |
