I'm sure it must be pilot error, however, when I try to record a macro, I never get the box that ask to name it. I hit record, select some actions, then stop recording. That's all that ever happens!
I see in the  help menus it's supposed to ask me to name the macro after I hit stop, but it never does. I must be missing something, but I'm going blind trying to figure it out. Thanks for any pointers. I just
downloaded beta 10.

OK, I just tried it and got it to work for the first time. I was trying
to record a right click action on the browser tab. When I went to another page, the macros worked. However, my specific problem
is that my new iPod doesn't like very large tag headers. For some reason some rippers are creating v2 tags that are 60kb+! I was trying to just delete the v2 header, then resync the v1 and v2.
I can't record the right click actions on the browser tab I guess.
Is there another way to delete the v2 header that I can record in a macro?

I might be stating the obvious here, but have you tried the 'Mass clean up tags' tool. Sounds like that's exactly what you need.
Just check the 'Remove tag' and 'Delete all frames' boxes under the 'ID3v2' section, then go to the 'Direct tag manipulation' tool, and select 'Sync v1/v2 tags' from the presets, and that will then copy your v1 tags to v2.

Well, like I said, pilot error. That worked just fine. Thanks!
