I can only click "OK" , which brings up a "wizard interrupted" screen where the only choice is "Finished". Posted by: Magnus Brading on Nov. 03 2002,23:04 My guess would be that you either have a damaged Mp3/Tag Studio installer file, or that there are local Install Shield problems on your computer. I have heard very strange stuff that can go wrong with Install Shield on people's computers (not specifically connected to Mp3/TS, but in general). Anyway, noone else has reported any such problem, which is the reason for my conclusions. So my suggestion would be to re-download the install-file, and/or try to install it on another computer so see if the problem is local to your system. Posted by: fecund on Nov. 03 2002,23:57 It's not my installer, used the same one on a different computer and it worked fine. Seems to be wanting to access various network drives. Tried it again after a reboot and got this: Error 1606.Could not access network location \\vast\workcom\ITEngineering\USERS\fecund\PRIVATE\ Looking at my registry, it's listed as Windows\CurrentVersion\User Shell Folders\Personal Deleted that registry entry (suppose I should have just replaced it with a local folder) but in any case it worked. Posted by: Magnus Brading on Nov. 04 2002,02:42 That is actually one of the strange Install Shield problems I have heard about before. ![]() end |
