hi, thanks for your time to make this great software.  I was happy to see a couple of the improvements especially the scroll bars.

however, in the custom file selection box, i wish the check boxes werent there.  I thought that was gonna be cool for a minute, but when you are done with a group of files, you need to selected them again just to uncheck the boxes, whereas before you just had to click a different file.

so...what?

thanks again, juglesh   B>{)}

Ok, I see your point. I'll add "select all" and "deselect all" options to the context menu of it.

what a guy!  maybe a 'deselect all' button at bottom or top would be cool. 'select all' would be <ctrl a> of course. 'deselect all' could be <alt a>.  I'd rather just have the option to use the old style (switchable in preferences).

as long as i'm throwing out suggestions...
how bout showing both ID1 and ID2 on the browse panel. and a button by each field for 'ID1>ID2' or 'ID2>ID1'

also on the browse panel could be 'rename by tags' (would ony do that file and would have the presets from the 'rename by tag' panel)

a file with no tags would have the 'rename by tag' button with the 'create tag' button.

usually the 'tag by filename' is great, but it might be nice to fill in the trk# tags by file order.  Maybe on the 'mass set tags' panel, would be this option.

just some ideas, love your program, thanks for your time.

You can already switch between v1 and v2 if they are unsynced, via the buttons at the top of the fields. The other functionality already exists in Direct Tag Manipulation.

Check out the right-click menu for the file list in the browse panel.

This would be cool, but would require some control over listing order in the Select Files to Process window.

For more info about auto-tracknumbering files with Mp3/Tag Studio, please see the following thread:

Disposable Hero's answers should cover the rest I think.

I too wanted a 'select all' and 'deselct all' function
That feature was annoying me too.
I kept having files still ticked and would end up having the tags altered without me knowing.

Im glad thats going to be an option in the next update.

Nice one

:)
