while using the shell extension(tag via filename) in vista32, i was getting this error
"error opening undo file c\program files\mp3tagstudio/shlext.und"
and that would crash explorer.
I think i have it solved by running mp3ts as admin, and going into all the permission dialogs for the install folder. giving everyone full control. go into the advanced and uncheck the 'inherit permissions' thing.

Solved same problem in Windows 7 32 bit
by installing and running a utility called "Take Ownership" from < http://www.howtogeek.com/downloads/TakeOwnership.zip >
(The utility modifies the registry, so I suggest backing it up first.)
Did not need to change any permissions, etc. Just run this utility on the Mp3TagStudio Program folder (typically ...\Program Files\Magnus Brading Software)
