Posted earlier but in wrong section/

I have an mp3 file that I am trying to repair but can't. When I hit the excute button it pop's up a message "I/O error 998".  tried doing a search but no luck.

Please advise.

This is an internal operating system error, meaning "Invalid access to memory location".

It might be due to a problem in your Windows installation or hardware (like harddisk or ram memory), but if you send me the file I can verify it for you if you like.
