Here is my problem.  I would like MP3TS to write the ID3 tag for both v1 and v2 at the same time.  But I want it to *only* use the truncated tag for v1 and use the full ID3 tag for v2.  

Currently it writes the truncated v1 tag to both v1 and v2.  

is there anyway to allow this to happen?  Thanks in advance

No, it should not normally write any truncated data to the v2 tag, it should always write the full tag data to the v2 tag automatically. Exactly which operation are you performing when this allegedly happens?

Yes you are right and I was mistaken.  MP3TS is writing to both v1 and v2 tags.  My mistake.   I was importing from my MP3 file name which was truncated.  

I want to congradulate you on a great program, keep up the good work.
