When I try to cut off the end or start of the song, I get an error.  Here is the message:
Access violation at address 004c878a in module 'mp3tag_s.exe'. Read of address 48011064.

but then I check the file and it got cut anyway.  Sometimes I get the similar error but a different read of address number.  I tried to erase the tag info thinking that there was a bad tag, but I get the error anywa, again with a different address

Does this happen for every file you try to trim, or just one?

It sounds very strange that it behaves differently for different people. Have you encoded most of your mp3s yourself (i.e. so that they all might have similar characteristics encoding-wise)?
