When I change tags, i have a copy of windows explorer with the artist and albulm fields showing. Its a greatway to double check the work I am doing.

In 3.01 as soon as I would go a tag change, it would show up in explorer.
In 3.05 it will not. I.e. If an mp3 has no id3 tag, and I give it one in studio, and write it, explorer will not see the change. However when I review the tag in studio it appears to have been done properly.

My idea is that the tags are unreadable by windows. Sound possible?

It sounds a bit strange, because no code that should affect the writing of tags in that way have been altered between those two versions, but you can never be completely sure I guess.

It would be great if you could send me a sample file that has been given a tag with Mp3/Tag Studio, which will not show up in your Explorer. I will then analyze the tag to see if there's anything wrong with it. Please send a file that had no tag prior to setting it with Mp3/Tag Studio (like you mention above), to make it easier for me to be able to exclude pre-existent errors in the tag. Thanks!
