By mistake I ran a Direct Tag Manipulation with <Genre_1> -> <Genre_1>.  The result was that the <Genre_1> value went into <Comment_2>!

This was after deleting all V2 frames, so it wasn't a "left over".  I haven't tried to replicate this, but will if you don't see it on a quick test.

Yes, I know, I shouldn't have done what I did, but it still is an odd behavior.

I just tried to reproduce this, but did not get the effect you describe, rather, it worked just as it should.

Please try to find out whatever more conditions are needed for this to happen, if possible.

I'll see if I can get it to happen again.  Of course (there is always an "of course") the files I ran it on have been processed by other means, so I don't have the original case to try at this time.  I'll try on some others.

If I recall (which is NOT guaranteed) I had removed all V2 frames because of multiple COMM tags.  I don't know if I have any such files hanging around right now.  But I'll try some other cases.

Ain't it fun to have someone like me around????
