After trying two other bookmark merging programs, I was nearly ready to throw in the towel.

Your BC program let me merge Firefox and Opera bmarks into IE.  Then I used Firefox import from IE and got the complete merged list.  Opera has a pretty comprehensive stock set of bmarks, so I wanted them in firefox.

Your prg accomplished the task, where others failed (or i didn't use them correctly  :p )!

Very well, I put a post here in the Mozilla Firefox Support forums.  Should get some publicity there, I'd think.

I put a link to the bmc page and also to the bmc forums.

I agree, the program is very good.  Needs the foreign character error fixed and it would be nice to be able to check bookmarks and download favicons like am-deadlink.  Then I would only need one program for my favorites/bookmarks.

I fully agree!! I tried a couple of converters and this prog is second to none! I registered just now..... :-)
