i am trying to use v3.5B6 to edit tags on a shared volume, and it seems to fail altogether -

i can't refer to a shared volume using the "working directory" or explorer tree
if i use the context menu (right click in explorer) on a shared volume, the program seems to be confused

is there something i'm missing?

You can map it to a drive letter and it will work, direct UNC paths are not fully supported in all cases in the current version.

Thanks - I will use a drive letter for now.

Is this likely to be fixed in future versions?

Also I have some other issues:
- When I multi-select files, the "edit tags" option does not appear in the context menu (it works fine for directories)

- When I try to add a "Composer" tag to a set of files, if I also change a regular Tag (like the Artist tag), the change to the composer tag is not done. (I have to do them as two seperate "executes")

- The Composer tag being burried inside of the "more" screen is inconvenient - would it be possible to make it more accessible somehow?

This is a useful program. Unfortunately, these little issues stand between me and registering.

In regard to my last note: it seems that the problem with setting composer fields is that they do not appear in the preview - the actual tags do get changed.

Yes, this composer field preview bug is known, it will be fixed in a future update, thanks for the report anyway

About the shell menu item, I assume you are talking about the "Edit this file in Mp3/Tag Studio" item? This one opens Mp3/Tag Studio on the selected file, and hence, it does not make sense to do it when more than one file is selected, that's why it is only available on single files. If you want to open Mp3/Tag Studio on an entire directory you should instead select the folder and then use the "Edit this directory in Mp3/Tag Studio" item from the context menu.

And yes, full UNC path support is planned for future versions.
