Hi!
I was starting to panic when I saw that mp3 tag studio didn't display any year tag in all my files (i have been cleaning and editing them all day long) but I found out that other software like foobar, mp3tag or serato scratch live display the tag with no problem.
What's going on?
I have uploaded a very small file for you to see by yourself:

mts displays no year tag but other software display it with no problem

EDIT: "MTS can't read date tag in browse/edit tags" I mean it can't read the date tag anywhere! can't rename to file or whatever

That file uses the more uncommon TDRC ID3v2.4 tag field for the year value, while most other taggers and players, including Mp3/Tag Studio, uses the TYER field instead by default, that's why it isn't displaying, sorry about that.

It's bad for this software that all others could read the tag but mts didn't
But you are still the best!!
I fixed the problem by tag to filename with mp3tag and then filename to tag with mts, everything ok now!
