is it possible to do a suggestion of the file format
some file look like this:
01-Artist-Title.mp3
01_Artist_Title.mp3
then it should be automatically recongized that the first is the Track (idenpendently if it is "-" or "_").
At least it should not be considered when the result list for the title contains "0" -> than you know, that something went wrong. It should automatically suggest (try) a different seperator and show the result in the preview mode. The user still can decide that something went wrong, but as an intelligent suggestion it would be very helpfull... soemtime happened, that I overwrote all my track-No (OK my fault), but it is quite a big hazzle to recover than everything (undo) again.

maybe a preview on demand would help here (just use the first MP3 you find in the dir and show), how it would look like (in a tiny field above "Expected Filename Format")...

Doing such "intelligent" changes of the template is doomed to create massive problems when processing more than just a handful of files at a time. It will be impossible to see where the program though it would be clever to change the template, and did so automatically, which is why I really dislike such "intelligent" features in programs.
Rather, simply inspect the output of the warnings/errors window, and re-process the files in question, it will report the problems you mention.
