Generally I use 3 digit track numbers and have the tool set to zero padding field with 3.
I have a few collections of over 1000 mp3's, so use zero padding field with 4.

Not a problem when working withing the tool, just switch the setting...easy

But I have a bunch of scripts to help me manage my mp3 collection including some that use the command line version of mp3tag..and I'd like to be able to specify the zero padding width in the script

I had a dig through the FAQ and the help and I cannot find a way, so I thought I'd suggest it as an improvement.

Is this possible?

Thanks

N

Sorry, no, the global settings cannot be controlled by macros.

Thanks for clarifying this. At least I won't be searching around looking for a non existing answer.
