I'd like to set up some "substring replacements" that occur only when converting ID3 tags to filenames.

I see how to set up substring replacements in the "fix case" settings area, but these changes are "program wide", and also affect things like "Direct Tag Manipulation".

In my case, I want to set up some custom replacement rules that only apply when automatically renaming files based on ID3 tags.

For example, I want to set up a rule that converts a quote (") into two apostrophes ('') so a title like 12" Mix still "appears" properly in a file list (since quotes are an illegal character under Windows). However, if I do some "Direct Tag Manipulation", I don't want the substitution to take place... and I don't want to have to remember to switch between various presets.

It seems to me filename-fixing rules should be independent of tag-fixing rules...

Keep up the great work on Mp3/TS; it is by far and away the best tag editor out there... and trust, I've tried many of them!

Yes, separate casefix settings for each tool is already being considered for a future version.

And I'm glad to hear you like the program.
